With the implementation of the one-child policy and moreawareness to health in our country,mass groups pay more attention to thechildren health and safety problems. To these family with children,reserving some OTC drugs often used in children at home has become anhousehold necessaries. Examined on specific diseases,pediatric OTCdrugs can be purchased in drug store,hospital and related health facilitieswithout prescription of doctors. Due to its direct selling to theconsumers,drugs package first should conform to user’s psychologicalcharacteristic and aesthetic tendency,which can generate the consumers’purchase desire in a short time. Through the analysis in domestic andoverseas design cases,it is found that less study to children’s emotionalpsychology are applied in domestic drug package,most of which in themarket are tedious and adult-oriented,obviously lagging behind thoseused in overseas market.In view of child psychology,emotion psychology,and designpsychology,no violation to the relevant national laws and regulations,the thesis set the children vulnerable groups as the study subject to carryout the humanistic drug package design,which focuses on release of thedrug use in children’s unhealthy emotions. Based on the current drugpackage and deficiency,the thesis carries on the design innovation from the view of package branding,pattern,selection,decoration,functionand structure to meet not only the requirements of traditional function ofdrug package,arranging the drug package design context and integratingdesign elements. but also children’s emotion to the drug package. Thenew way of drug package can put humanistic care into effect,whichpossesses the practical significance in the design field of our domesticdrug package.
