Monitoring the communication base station emergency generator in theprevious communication base station monitoring products are covered, but theseproducts for generator monitoring is only what means to monitor the base stationpower supply. The power of generator isn’t given specific monitoring plan. Tt isresulted that long-term maintenance costs for the base station power supply islack of supervision, maintenance and management. In order to improve qualityand reduce the base station maintenance costs, researches and designscommunications base station emergency generator monitoring system.Communication base station emergency generator monitoring systemconsists of three parts, remote monitor, monitoring platform, control centersoftware. System hardware consists of remote monitor and monitoring platform,and control center software is part of the system software. Remote monitoring byusing STM32F103RE6as the core processor, equipped with W801G GPRSmodule, ST-200GPS module and LED display module, realizes A/D collection ofgenerators information, generator location information collection and monitoringdata GPRS transmission. And information is displayed in LED. Monitoringplatform using redundant design, core processor for STM32F103RE6and dualSIM300GPRS communication modules, realizes remote monitor uploadmonitoring information processing and transmission to the control centersoftware. At the same time, man-machine management information is send bySMS short message. Monitoring platform and control center software which usesthe Java communications through the realization of RS-232. Control centersoftware whose database uses SQL Server2005, displays and storages the power generation information. And the man-machine management information is sent tothe monitoring platform, to achieve man-machine management and generatorcontrol. In addition, storage monitoring data can be used to peacekeepingassessment and data analysis.Research in the article of the communication base station emergencygenerator monitoring system successfully runs in Hubei mobile communicationscompany. System for monitoring the reaction time is about10seconds.Throughreal-time monitoring of the system, provides an important data basis formanagement and maintenance of the mobile. Data analysis andprocessing basically achieves automation, greatly improves work efficiency.
