In 1987, Guangzhou Post Office opened the first Analogue Cellular mobile phone, which announced the arrival of the era of modern Chinese telecommunication. With the building of GSM digital mobile phone network in1994 and the entry into the 3G era in 2008, China's mobile communication technology has been developing rapidly. In 2014, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China issued the 4G license, which means that China's communications industry officially entered the 4G era. However, with the rapid expansion and deep coverage of the net scale, the 4G network has confronted with many problems, such as the limitation of the urban construction planning, the weak rural infrastructure, especially the insufficient power supply which has become a bottleneck restricting the large-scale construction of 4G network.As an emerging energy, the solar energy is clean and renewable, which has been an important alternative resource in current and even future period. The reserves of solar energy resources depend on latitude, elevation, terrain and weather conditions in different regions. Our country is relatively rich in solar energy resources. More than 60% of the land in our country has over 2200 hours of sunshine throughout the year, which means that our country has a better solar energy resources utilization condition.After decades of the exploration and application, photovoltaic power generation technology has become a relatively mature industry. The production capacity and scale of PV modules are also increasing. At present, the commercial efficiency of silicon components is greater than 19%, and commercial efficiency of polysilicon components is more than 17%, which shows that the photovoltaic power generation system has become commercial and market oriented gradually.In this paper, the study of the integration of practical factors is focused on, such as the construction scale of 4G base stations and the power requirements in each base station, the power system composition and configuration parameters, component installation precautions and so on. The communication base station energy security during the solar power system operation, frequent malfunctions during the process of docking port as well as the design, the configuration and the related auxiliary design of the solar power system components are also studied in detail.At last, the combination of the independent photovoltaic generation system, the principle of the system design, the type of the workload of mobile communication base station, the best tilt angle of the solar energy panels and the calculating steps of the volume of the storage batteries are given in detail from the point of the application.
