| Mobile Internet has become an important part of people’s daily life,while the base station is a basic guarantee for the normal operation of the mobile Internet.Due to remote area with complex terrain,it is difficult to manage and maintain the electricity in remote communication base station using a variety of power supply.To solve those maintenance and management difficulties of electricity in remote areas,we propose a remote meter reading program of communication base station.The system realizes the remote management of power and solves this problem of difficult management in remote areas.Meanwhile,this system achieves the remote acquisition of power,reducing the man power cost of operators in the base station meter reading effectively.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:1)Analyze the shortcomings of manual meter reading and design a system of remote area communication base remote meter reading,according to the requirements of operator management.2)Design and implement a remote meter reading system with a variety of wireless collection methods of communications base station.The system uses STC chip as the main control chip to achieve the wireless acquisition of the meter energy’s data and image.The collected meter data can be transmitted to the management system of base station via MMS image format and short message format.Image acquisition can resolve the errors problem of wireless transmission data,and administrators also can monitor the base stations via the internal camera case.This system is mainly achieved by serial analog meter data acquisition.A serial camera achieves high-speed data acquisition,and the other is used for GSM communications.3)Design and implement a management system of communications base stations in remote areas,and achieve the management of the base information,meter information,purchase information,user rights,as well as billing and other billing data.The system can achieve an accurate collection of remote energy data.The test results show that the system has good performances,and can be used for the intelligent power management of communication base stations in remote areas. |
