With the progress of science and technology and the improvement of people’s living standard, people has higher requirement for the quality of wall decoration. Painting putty on the wall is an insurmountable process in wall decoration, but at present domestic process of painting putty on the wall mainly rely on the manual operation. Labor intensity of workers is big, operation process are complicated,and the scaffolding, high stool, etc.should be used for the high wall construction, so this is not convenient,at the same time reduces the productivity. According to this, this paper presents a design of semi-automatic machine of painting putty on the wall on the basis of consulting references and analysis of actual decorating production process.First, the overall mechanical structure of the wall putty spraying machine is designed, and the virtual prototype modeling of the wall putty spraying machine is created through3D software Catia. Second, Using ANSYS software to carried on the static analysis and modal analysis to the scraper, get the deformation of the scraper parts, the first six order modal and vibration mode, through the Finite element analysis of the bar support components and plate, and combining with the optimization function of the workbench and the actual production requirements, the weight and the structure of bar support components and plate have been optimized.Then, With RecurDyn software, the movement simulation of the wall putty spraying machine has been carried out, the simulation results show that the machine will be effected according to the predetermined trajectory. Finally, According to the control requirements, the PLC control program of basic decorating operation is written, with the PLC programming software CX-Programmer,the Simulation and debugging of the program has been carried out, the simulation results show that is correct.
