Project Supervision Role In Highway Construction Projects

With the development of the urbanization in China, the investment in highwayconstruction is more and more big. But because of the construction of the large scaleand many factors such as the construction project, the national various provinces andcities have taken place in the engineering quality problems ranging from damage. Inorder to ensure the smooth construction of the highway construction project, it isnecessary to strictly supervising the whole process of highway construction projectsupervision department. Due to the various units in the industry understanding of therole of supervision errors and led to the operation of the highway construction projectsupervision did not play a proper role in the process, so it is necessary to study therole of engineering supervision in highway construction project, for the engineeringsupervision department better provide solid theoretical guarantee responsibility.In this paper, on the basis of consulting a large number of literature, a series ofengineering supervision related theories are reviewed, and expounds the role ofengineering supervision, namely "three control, two management and onecoordination". Analyzed the relevant factors affecting the supervision work, namely:(1) think our country to achieve real "comprehensive supervision" has manyinsufficient places;(2) the supervision of the industry, there are a lot ofmisunderstanding;(3) there is a competition mechanism is not sound;(4) the existinglaws and regulations is not perfect;(5) supervision fee is too low,(6) supervision ofoverall quality is not high (7) in the industry generally lack self accumulation anddevelopment ability;(8) supervision unit does not conform to the requirements ofqualification.Finally, through the analysis of the specific engineering case, this article on howto play the role of good engineering supervision put forward some Suggestions,mainly divided into the following several aspects:(1) establish relevant supervisionorganization and management, establish clear supervision responsibilities;(2)improve the comprehensive ability of the supervision enterprise;(3) the engineeringquality supervision should take effective measures to (4) to strengthen the management of project construction process control thinking and ideas (5) strengthenthe supervision of the government standardize supervision market behavior;(6)"comprehensive supervision".
