With the increasing popularity of air condition devices as well as the aggravating energy crisis, buildings energy conservation is becoming a problem concerned by more and more people. Meanwhile, CCHP system, which features little investment, high energy usage ratio, energy conservation, environmental protection, good economical efficiency, flexible arrangement among different loads and reliable energy supply and so on, has become the future of distributed energy supply system. And this is happening taking advantage of the exploit of natural gas and continuous adaptation of energy utilization structure.CCHP system, which is based on the graded use of energy, integrates electricity generation, refrigeration and heat supply which include heating loads and domestic hot water. By this way, not only does the first energy usage ratio of the whole system rise, but the rest power can be applied in communication when the power policy fits, which increases the economical efficiency of the whole system.How to make this system work to its best, however, is the start point and key point of this article. After reading and settling a variety of literature which relate to different operating strategies of CCHP as well as investigating prices of relevant devices, a united scheme which mainly contains gas turbines, waste heat boilers, Lithium bromide absorption refrigerators and furnaces as well as electric refrigerators is set up.On the basis that preliminary investment increment, annual operating income, one time energy conservation ration, net present value and economic coefficient serve as the reference functions, the research on the optimization and operating strategy of combined heating and cooling system configuration is conducted with annual whole life cost being the optimization object. At the same time, this model combined with the programming using VC++is applied on a detailed analysis of a hotel in shanghai, which gives us its optimum setting and operating strategy.The conservation of CCHP system is based on a sufficient assessment of buildings loads as well as the configuration and operating optimization of the system. The configuration can’t be settled easily according to the rule of ordering power by heat or ordering heat by power. The optimum configuration of a CCHP system can only be achieved the way that a detailed building loads distribution is obtained before a proportional setting, which relies on the distribution, is used. What’s more, CCHP system is sensitive to the prices of natural gas and electricity. When the price of natural gas is relatively low, combined heating and cooling system has an obvious advantage over a production system. If the price of natural gas exceeds4yuan, combined heating and cooling system is no longer suitable for this building. Likewise, the combined system takes a significant advantage when the price of electricity rises.
