Research On The Construction Of Rural Community Center Based On Rdgional Character

With the development of China’s urbanization, the rural areas are facing a new round of reconstruction and renewal. Rural communities have become a new social primary organizational unit. Rural community center has a special role in the construction of rural areas which not only should provide the life and production services for the villagers but also has the responsibility of continuation of rural tradition. However, the blind imitation of management, architectural forms as well as construction concept from city leads to the loss of regional characteristics of rural areas. This paper tries to interpret the two main concepts of regional and rural communities, analysis the reasons for the loss of regional characteristics of rural community center. The author will quote a number of rural community center project instances, focusing the aspects of the spirit of place, layout, spatial form, materials and technology, exploring a construction principle and method for rural community center, which not only suitable for the development of the rural area but also can reflect the regional characteristics of rural areas and create the sense of regional and belonging.
