Study On The Plan Of Zhangye Runquanhu Wetland Park

Urban wetland is an important part of city Greenland system and city water system, andit is especially important in the ecological city construction. In recent10years Wetland Park,as the successful pattern of Greenland protection and utilization, becomes popular in China,especially in eastern area it develops fast and its ecological function and value has attractedwidespread attention, and it becomes the hot topic of discussion in the academic circle. Theurban wetland parks that were built by some cities in China according to the patterns ofbuilding reserves, making water maintenance and wastewater reuse, and building leisureparks and so on lead to the construction of city Wetland Park to some extent, but at presentthere are some non-negligible phenomena existing in the plan and construction of urbanwetland park, for example, there are more manmade landscapes; the ecological function is notperfect territoriality is not obvious; its function of science popularization and education isdesalinated; the leisure recreation is overstressed; there are even some places that copy thelandscape patterns and styles, as a result the landscapes are same.Aiming at the phenomena and problems above mentioned, by making informationretrieval, collecting and reading the relevant articles and works about wetland theories and theplans of urban wetland park, the paper discusses the planning theories of national wetlandpark and uses the advanced theory for reference to summarize the key points of ZhangyeRuquanhu National Park planning theory. The author makes fact finding and on-siteunderstanding to know and contact the physics, economy, historical culture, customs and sonon, sorts out the materials of planning that the author took part in to gain the relevantinformation and materials of the present situation, building conditions and objectiveconditions of Zhangye National Wetland Park and analyses these materials and informationby combining the case study of Zhangye Ruquanhu National Park planning. The followingconclusions are drawn:1. Planning and construction of the urban wetland park should be based on the principlesof ecological economy to explore the local human styles and features and historical heritage, to highlight local characteristics, to reflect humanistic care and to make the virtuous cycle ofecology, economy and social benefit by combing the local situations and city characteristics.2. Comparing with other waterscape the ecological function of urban wetland park is themost elementary and important function of landscapes. Meanwhile it has the functions ofscience popularization and education, close to nature, leisure and recreation and so on.3. The primary purpose of building wetland park in city is to protect the presentwetlands and to resume the degraded wetlands to make it fulfill its function and value, to tryto keep the quiet natural environment, and to prevent introduce more leisure recreationfacilities, but absolute protection is not good for the existence and development of citywetland. It is the protection based on the sustainable use of urban wetland resources that is inconformity with the laws of development.
