The Study On The Planning Of Wetland Park Of Beijing

Wetland Park is an effective way to protect the wetland resources of the city, it has significant implications to unite the wetland protection and wetland utilization together. China’s Urban Wetland Park appeared only in the few years, and we have no complete theoretical system until now. So it is necessary to study the theory of planning and design of Wetland Park.This paper figures on the design method of Wetland Park by reviewing literature and investigating. It describes the related concepts of wetland and Wetland Park, whose function and value are be summarized, It also summarizes the achievements of domestic and foreign experts in the study of Urban Wetland Park, discusses the guiding ideology and principles to be followed during the design process, and sums up the essential contents of the Wetland Park, as theoretical support for the practice part. The analysis and comparison based on five typical cases provides references and suggestions for the practical part of this paper. In the last part, theory is applied to practice through the planning of Ju River Wetland Park project in Beijing,Pinggu District, in order to promote the development of the theoretical system of Urban Wetland Park planning.
