With the rapid development of computer technology, electronic technology and sensor technology, the technology of "black box" not only is used to the plane, but also is applied gradually in the tower crane. The application can achieve real-time and accurate detection, record and display to tower crane operation parameters, which not only benefits the operators to know the operation state of tower crane in time, but also benefits administrators or analysts to replay analysis of tower crane operation. In this thesis, tower crane operation parameters real-time record and analysis system is designed by using of LabVIEW development environment and data acquisition card.Firstly, through the introduction and analysis of tower crane structure and work characteristics, the main operation parameters affecting the safety of tower crane are determined. Secondly, according to the characteristic of different operation parameters, different detection schemes are designed. In the detection of lifting capacity, shaft pin type load cell is selected. Signal section modulating circuit is designed to solve the problem which tower crane has the big weighing range and A/D on the data acquisition card has unit conversion error. Signal reduction and linear compensation algorithm is designed to solve the problem which the sensor output signal is segmented and has transmission attenuation, which realizes the high-precision conversion of lifting capacity. The overload detection and data real-time storage are also completed. In the detection of lifting height, the small car amplitude, rotation angle and running speed, according to the characteristic of work and structure of tower crane three major mechanisms, photoelectric encoder is selected. Through researching angle and velocity measurement algorithm of the photoelectric encoder and combining DAQmx programming module, the parameters real-time detection, overrun alarm and data storage are realized. In the detection of load moment, through analyzing the working principle of the bow plate torque limiter after improved, BFGS and compensation algorithm is introduced in the functional neural network, which realizes the high-precision measurement of load moment. Finally, tower crane operation parameters are detected really-time based on the LabVIEW development environment. According to the recorded data and combining practice, tower crane operation parameters analysis system having the function of system login, time selection, parameter selection, data analysis and text printing is constructed on the LabVIEW development platform, which realizes the replay of tower crane operation and facilitates administrators or analysts to assess accident and report work.The experimental results show that tower crane operation parameters real-time record and analysis system has such advantages as high accuracy, strong function, good real-time, stability and practicability, friendly man-machine interface.
