And want to crack this problem, but faced with the dilemma of choice. In actual, we use M company as the studyobject, by introducing the basic situation of Company M, its spare parts management existingmode of operation and the problems.Raised against the concept of critical spare parts, spareparts for M Company ABC classification, based on the difference between spare partscategory treatment; improvement through the implementation of VMI feasibility plan andspecific implementation steps, and through the implementation of VMI Company M beforeand after comparison of the stock index changes, and effects assessment, concluded that thebenefits and necessity of implementing VMI.As VMI implementation needs, analyze M company’s maintenance departmentorganization and spare parts procurement process. Redesigning the organizational structureand related maintenance work processes, so that the new management process is moresuitable for reliable implementation of VMI.
