In the tunnel construction work, the geological environment is complex. Geological disasters such as sudden gushing, landslides, rock blasting often affect the progress of the project and jeopardize the safety of personnel. So it is important to use advanced geological forecast to prevent geological disasters. Pipe shelter drill advanced geological forecast is one of the major geological prediction methods. Now only a few pipe shelter drills has the forecasting methods, such as Italy C6drill rig, Japan RPD drill rig, German Klemm drill rig, so it is necessary to develop domestic advanced geological forecast system.Based on the existing model JGZ pipe shelter drill, the pipe shelter drill advanced geological prediction system is studied. The main work is as follows:(a) After consulting a large number of advanced geological forecast system at home and abroad, combining with the characteristics of driller, this paper determined the drilling parameters of advanced geological forecast system testing, research and calculate the detection mechanism of the drilling parameters.(b) After the hardware system design of the pipe shelter drill advanced geological prediction system, the model of sensor, PLC and touch-screen are determined. The upper and lower computer software is designed by using WinCC flexible and STEP7software, this article analyzes the realization of system functions from the functional interface and the main block.(c) This paper analyzes the limitations of the traditional chiseling law for rock discriminant, proposed the usage of pipe shelter drill principle of conservation of energy for rock discriminant. By analysising and calculating the energy of drilling process, this paper draws drilling energy formula of rock crushing, and provides a theoretical basis for a one-to-one correspondence database of drilling energy and rock category.
