| The exploration of offshore oil is a hot topic in the world, and the laying of submarinepipelines is one of the essential items in the field. As one new kind of pipe laying method rosein the end of the20th century, the reel lay has attracted increasing attention and been widelyused in the world for its relatively high laying efficiency and lower laying costs. Thepipelaying vessel’s reel system is the important equipment in reel lay, then domestic researchon its core technology in the world still lagges behind. The research on pipelaying vessel’sreel system will be done as following:In this paper, the development history and current status of the laying of submarinepipelines will be studied, the existing pipe laying methods will be analyzed and compared toeach other, and the pipelaying vessels produced by manufacturers with cutting-edgetechnology in the field will be introduced and studied briefly. These will provide certain factreferences for the following research.Base on the study and analysis of the existing reel lay vessels, the major parts of the reelsystem will be established. And the reel system works and work process will be determinedby the research of submarine pipeline laying process used reel lay. Combined with theresearch needs of the reel system in this paper, the overall program and three-dimensionalmodel of the simplified reel system will be developed.The material and mechanical properties of submarine pipeline will be studied, andfurther research and analysis of the mechanical state of the pipeline in the reel system will bemade out based on the aforementioned3D model. The corresponding mechanical data will beCalculated through the analysis and calculation of the mechanical state of the system, thus theinitial design parameters of the key track system in the reel system will be obtained.Combined the actual needs of the pipe-laying process with the mechanical industrydesign standards, the overall structure will be designed in accordance with the calculateddesign parameters of the key track system in the reel system, and the strength of key parts willbe analyzed and checked. |
