With the rapid development of transport trade, intelligent civil transport system has been paid high attention to meet the requirement of transport management. Being the core of the intelligent civil transport system, GPS intelligent vehicle system becomes the research hotspot nowadays. Supported by the National High Core Basic Project of P.R.China "Study of homemade software platform applications for China post IOT-China post transport system", this dissertation concentrates its attention on the key technology research and design of BD/GPS intelligent vehicle system based on KYLIN Embedded Linux.The main contents and contributions of this dissertation are as follows:1. Based on the study of hardware and software structure and module characteristics of GPS intelligent vehicle system, a GPS intelligent vehicle system design scheme based on ARM embedded processor and KYLIN Embedded Linux system is proposed in this paper. Compared with other schemes, the proposed scheme has many advantages, such as excellent expansibility ability, high stability, and convenience for upgrade. Furthermore, the KYLIN Embedded Linux we used is a homemade software system with highest security with intellectual property rights, which can solve the inbreak problem in the practice.2. A modularized hardware system structure based on main board and core board is designed to satisfy the demands firstly. Then a power supply protecting circuit is proposed to solve the problem in power management of the system. The industry-level modules and chips used in the BD/GPS intelligent vehicle system can meet the temperature requirement of the system. The vehicle and utmost experiments show that the system is stable, reliable which can satisfy the design requirement.3. The KYLIN Embeded Linux system is studied in this paper. Based on the research work, we fulfill the migration of the KYLIN Embeded Linux to the BD/GPS intelligent vehicle equipment and design the application software which includes periodly location information reporting mechanism, order receiving and processing mechanism, BD/GPS location control and feedback mechanism, sound and video data storage mechanism, WIFI control mechanism, RFID data capturing, interface multiplexing using mechanism, remote upgrade mechanism and some other functions.Through the above-mentioned research work, we implemented the design of the BD/GPS intelligent vehicle system, completed the prototype production, debugging and testing of products. And the above-mentioned research work of this dissertation has laid the foundation for the further study on the application of satellite positioning technology in the vehicular equipment.
