The New Concept Design About SANY Mixer-truck

In recent years, construction machinery companies have launched many conceptcars. For one reason, they want to explore the future styling of the constructionmachinery. For the other, they hope to keep their brand always alive even underextreme pressure.Construction machinery has become an important tool in our infrastructure. It hasa close relationship with our lives. But for construction machinery companies, it isstill an important subject to know how to design products which are more humane,more energy-efficient, greener and safer. For now, many construction machinerycompanies have made some attempts to explore the future products, such as theexcavator and loader from Volvo, the Iron&Steel Spider-Man from XCMG and theTransformers excavator from SANY exhibited in the11th China(Beijing) International Construction Machinery Exhibition in Beijing. They put theconcept cars in kinds of exhibitions. In this way, they can learn the reflections ofmarket to these cars, to find out the direction of the development about the futureconstruction machinery.This paper comes from the project The New Concept Design about SANYMixer-truck between SANY Group and HNU School of Design. This thesis analyzesthe SANY brand from horizontal to vertical in the perspective of brand innovation. Italso does some researches about the developing trend of the construction machinerybased on the information from the exhibitions. At last, it analyzes the changes ofpurchase psychology among customers to predict the modeling changes ofconstruction machinery in the next future5-10years. In the actual design phase,according to the requirements of the mission statement, the target-solving activitiesare carried on.This design project gives some reference suggestions for the following study ofconstruction machinery modeling. It also has some positive significance for theindependent research and development in our construction machinery companies.
