With the rapid development of the domestic infrastructure construction and real estate industry in recent years, as the major structural building materials, the commercial concrete is also in constant change and development. Especially in the high-rise building, in order to adapt to the requestment of high pumping, the concrete is required larger slump, generally up to about 200mm. And a high pumping speed is required for the pump,12 cubic concrete mixer truck is required to finish continuous pumping within 10 minutes in the engine idle speed. This article is in view of the current situation that some company market mainstream large cubic number of old concrete mixer truck products have many problems which can’t meet the requirements of current use, like the loading capacity is not enough, unloading speed is slow, and the mixing is uneven. We put the company’s 12 cubic meters of old products as the basic research object, to make improvement and optimization design.This article carried on the analysis from the wet-type concrete mixer commodity structure, performance, and the problems in the process of transportation, combined with the structure of old mixer agitator tank itself. Research on the working characteristics of welding curve for transportation, mixing, and unloading, analyze the main reasons of influencing associative function. Thereby designed a new 12 m3 concrete mixer truck to adapt to the current market demand. In the design process of the new mixer tank, according to the reasonable vehicle overall design principle to design the stirring tank shape and size, through analyzing different situations which are during the working process, different mixing blade welding curve effects every part of the mixing tank. Selected and established the mathematical model of welding helix mixing blade, developed and improved the appearance and mould of mixing blade, and at the same time, designed the mould by using parametric design function of proe.In this article, the research and design of the research results have been applied in actual products in the company production for mixer truck, the effect is good, and obtained huge economic benefits.
