The radial plunger pump has good process performance, high pressure, strong impact resistant capability, long service life. But the unbalanced radial force exists in the working process of the traditional radial plunger pump, at the same time the plunger is point contact, wearing serious. These characteristics deside the traditional radial plunger pump not suitable for high speed work.This paper has put forward a new design on the structure of traditional radial piston pump. With the help of MATLAB, the plunger pump stator inner surface is processed into five function equation curve, in order to realize the pump plunger seal cavity volume change at work, Valve plate has took the place of valve shaft, which has four oil areas, the four oil areas are connected with two oil lines, at the bottom of plunger, standard deep groove ball bearing is set up, which can avoid the wear and tear of the plunger. To prevent the piston of the rotor from the outer surface of the stator under the action of centrifugal force, the stator groove is designed, which makes the stator maintain contacts with the plunger by taking advantage of the stator groove and the roller at the piston bottom placed in the grooves. Each part makes up the core part of the pump, the final effect of the core part is to eliminate the unbalanced radial force and to realize the radial force balance of the stator.With the help of ABAQUS finite element software, this paper has analysed the main stress components-plunger of the radial plunger pump plunger. Under the maximum stress, the stress state of the plunger meets the requirements of the strength of the material, the plunger can work normally, also which indirectly proves that the stiffness and strength of the radial plunger pump is safe.In order to verify whether single plunger movement in the practical work process resembles the theoretical study, this paper has imported the model into ADAMS software to carry on the kinematics simulation analysis. When the rotor speed is ω=1440r/min, the single plunger displacement, velocity and acceleration curve along the rotor cylinder hole wall are in line with the theoretical design. And this verifies the stator curve of theoretical design has good mechanical properties.
