Electric vehicle which can effectively solve the problems are brought by thetraditional automobile such as environmental pollution and energy shortage, is drivenby the motor and uses batteries as an energy storage system. Electric vehicle is animportant direction of the development of automobile industry currently. This subjectis based on a pure electric vehicle research and development project of one domesticcar company, and carries out the work on the selection of electric vehicle powersystem and parameters optimization. Meanwhile, this paper includes many theoreticaland engineering problems in-depth study. Those problems were encountered in theprocess of electric vehicle research and development.At first, this paper introduces the development background and research situationof the electric vehicle, introduces the components and structure of electric vehicle.The paper analyses the main components of electric vehicle, such as the drive motorand power battery, and calculation method of features including motor performanceand fuel consumption and dynamic performance. It describes the typical workingconditions and performance indicators. And this paper consists of the design andselection of pivotal system parameters of the electric vehicle dynamic system, whichincludes driving motor and power battery. Then, it uses the modular platform of thesimulation software AVL Cruise to establish a corresponding model. The model isused to simulate dynamic property and fuel efficiency of the electric vehicle. Thesimulation results are analyzed in the design. And the simulation dates are used to theintegrated matching optimization for dynamic system of electric vehicle by themethod of orthogonal experiment. Finally the complete vehicle performance test ofpower and economic is carried out. The test results verify the rationality andeffectiveness of the research work.This article studies about theory and engineering problems of miniature pureelectric vehicle research and development systematically. Its research results havecertain guiding significance to enhance the miniature pure electric vehicle power,economic performance matching effect, reduce the energy consumption of electric vehicles, improve endurance range, and improve the ability of our country onindependent research and development in the field of electric vehicle.
