Research Of Test Bench For Rach And Pinpion Steering Gear

Rack and pinion steering gear is one of the important components of mini car. Comprehensive performance test bench for Rack and pinion steering gear is the detecting and evaluating tool,which would not be ignored. In this paper, the comprehensive performance test bench for a new pure mechanical steering is exploited and designed According to the current national standard with QC/T29096-2010<<The test method for the steering-gear assembly of automobile>>,it can test the comprehensive performance of various rack and pinion steer gear about automobile.The bench can measure the total rotation of inputing shaft, the torque of inputing shaft with no-load, the characteristic of transmitting rate, the characteristic of transmitting space, the characteristic of transmitting efficiency.Technical targets of the bench:For input torque,measuring range is±10Nm and measuring accuracy is0.5%FS;For rotation angle measuring accuracy is0.05°; For displacement, range is±200mm and measuring accuracy is0.5%FS.
