With the rapid development of high speed railway, railway signal accidents have occurred now and then, and one of the main reason is the signal system cannot implement "fail-safe". Therefore, there is important theoretical and application value for us to accurately identify the fault, and deeply study the fault diagnosis and location, of signaling system.Currently, the fault diagnosis of high-speed railway signaling system is mainly focused on the equipment-level or device level. This self-diagnosis or local diagnosis can’t fully play the overall advantages of signal system. However, the system-level fault diagnosis(SLFD) method is based on the whole system, and it positions the fault through testing each other between all the nodes and analyzing of the result of the tests comprehensively. Hence, it can play the systemic and integrated advantage, and the diagnosis possesses high.reliability. In addition, the nodes can make response to the failure timely through sharing the fault information between the nodes.To this end, this paper presents a system-level fault diagnosis method, based on the theory of the system-level fault diagnosis, for high-speed signaling system. It can make full use of highly interactive information and reliable data communication network to accomplish fault location and detection. The problem is studied from diagnosis model of the system, tests between the nodes, tests task, and design and evaluation of the diagnosis algorithm. This paper’s main work includes:(I) To extract the nodes and establish a test pattern of high-speed signaling system using graph theory. This process is based on data interaction between each subsystem and device, mainly focus on the analysis of the information form and directions.(II) To put forward the mechanism of tests each other between all nodes of the high speed signaling system, combining the information types both produced by the device itself and interact with other devices or subsystems. According to the information produced by the nodes interactions based on the scenario of MA to determine testing relation between each subsystem and device under this scenario, and to make test tasks of each node and get the matrix of test results.(III)To design system-level fault diagnosis algorithm of the high-speed railway signaling system based on PMC model, and realize system-level fault location through a diagnostic and secondary. At last, the paper verifies the correctness of the algorithm.
