Value Vector Of Culture And Ethics Of "Green Space"

The main purpose of this paper is to study the ways to protect, utilize and develop the oldindustrial buildings and find an effective and feasible way to make the old industrial buildingsrenascent and extended. To make a breakthrough in protection and development, we areaiming to provide a new prospect in sustainable development and consistent memory of theold industrial buildings.Studying method is a first step to analyze and compare E-space and building.Although Espace and old industrial buildings belong to two different subjects and seem to have noconnections, we find astonishing similarities in physical structures and the mutual nature ofcommunication. In this way we find the essence of the space design–culture, and also the rootof the protection of the old industrial buildings. Ethics is another similarity of the two, whichalso a new turning point in balancing the protection and development of the old industrialbuildings. It is clear that people can cognize and set up building space from a new anglecognition, blending essence of western culture’s thought, finally to create a new system ofthought frame, namely,“Green Space” thought, it can use a traditional RuDaoShi ways toexplain the dialectics relations among person, green and design with each other philosophyethics, so that more people have come to realize building space design of the essence inconjunction with the practice and application of Western levels of Maslow’s theory on itsneeds in the physiological and psychological aspects of importance. On the one hand, it canillustrate "green space" thinking in the design of architectural space key role from atheoretical point of view，on the other hand, through our old building space protection contrastin the western industrial, it proves the old industrial architecture that should follow theprinciples: innovation，dynamic protection; protection and reuse.The exploration of recycling and protecting of the old industrial buildings is the bestillustration of the kernel of the “E-space” ideology, which is the most popular but serioustopic for today’s kingdom of designing. The roots of the contradictions to E-space are:1. theloss of the deep theory of culture;2.the weakness of culture resulting for economic elements.To solve the problem, returning to the starting point of seeing things is the only way out and the task of the philosophy of “E-space”. Government need to make relations laws andregulations to serve as the structure of the design ethnics. Meanwhile we also need to learnfrom the traditional ethnics. In this way we can resolve the problems in reality by means ofbalancing the economy and ethnics. In all, we must absorb the soul of Confucian philosophymelt it into our design, and combine the theory and practice. Only in this way, we can resumeour life-long pursuit, our Chinese architecture style can rebirth and become internationallywell-known.
