| The main topics of research and design is based on LED dot matrix screen and digital fonts, especially visibility and standardization of technical study conducted for the Intelligent Transportation Systems logo font.With the rapid development of the urban transport systems, the intelligent transportation systems have become an important part to the sign system of the public transport network. The system plays a vital role in the city traffic and the intercity transportation system, and can also provide the public with real-time, accurate and effective road information. Besides it can dredge the unexpected accident or other emergency situation occurred on road to avoid the effects of accidents expanding, reflecting the urban management capacity and ability to cope with unexpected situations. But because of lacking the rules of the research and relevant standard about the sign design which based on visual visibility and humanization, Intelligent Transportation signs have the problems such as the display of the fonts is nonstandard and the use of color is chaos which reduces the efficiency of information transmission. This thesis summarizes the previous phase of the project. From the visual visibility, ergonomics, font design aesthetics, LED dot matrix screen digitized characteristics and standardized identification system for road development, identify the system fieldwork and analysis through the traffic road network intelligent, summarize the vision-based visibility LED digital font actual methods, and the form the "public information road with the LED screen font design principles and requirements " industry standard manuscript for road. It provides recommendations for sustainable development of the network intelligent information systems, to aim at improving the visibility of text messages, strengthen the aesthetics, reflect identification system humanized design concept, and enhance the display of digital information. From a macro point of view, analysis the digitized font design, standardize the font design solutions to improve the digital typeface design standards system, and promote the development of information standardization. In this thesis, we study the road with the LED screen bitmap font’s public information, in order to improve the visibility of the text for the main purpose, to speed up the public for the information content of the recognition, enhanced identification information spread efficiency. We study the public LED dot matrix font display through field research, data survey analysis, standardization of theoretical research in this issue; the main contents are as follows:1. Analyze the public information systems and the use of domestic and foreign public information system, do the research of the intelligent transport systems for roads, and propose the purpose and significance of the LED screen font design standardization for public information;2. Analysis, research and practice from the font, the center of gravity, the palace and other aspects of design, standardize the specific design method of the digital font, and provide the basis for the development and sustainability of the font design standardization;3. Research the inter-frame structure, size and other aspects of the visual aesthetics of the text to improve visual perception, and reflects the humanization of the digital design;4. Explore the design methods of font and fonts, creates the unique font design method for LED special digital font;5. Standardize the information requirements according to the identification system requirements and ergonomics, ADA accessible design principles such as theoretical knowledge of information color, typography;6. Produce digitized fonts, font family and font;7. Summarize the research results and standardized content; provide the basis for the drafting of public information road with the LED screen font design principles and requirements of industry standards;In this thesis, we summarize the development process of digitizing font, analyze the significance of the font design standardization and design methods, the design concept, combine with existing standards bitmap fonts on the road with the LED digital typeface design standards proposals, state the key points based on visibility of the LED digital typeface design, clear the design principles and requirements, and innovate the design method of the digital font. |
