With the rapid development of national power grid construction, braided steel wire ropeis widely used as main force transmission part in the construction of power lines. Because ofpoor working environment and conditions, the wire rope is prone to wear, fatigue, broken andso on when it’s re-using, reducing its use safety, affecting safety of tension equipments, staffsand regional areas along the line. In this thesis, it focused on wire rope that is in urgent needof cleaning and maintenance, designed wire rope dehumidification device, and researched ondehumidification air knife flow field. The main works were as follows:(1) Aiming at low re-using safety problems of wire rope, requirements of wire ropecleaning, inspection, maintenance and importance of dehumidification work were analyzed,research of wire rope cleaning, inspection, maintenance and study of air flow field indomestic and overseas were summarized, put forward problems existing in development ofwire rope cleaning, inspection, maintenance system and research in flow field ofdehumidification air knife, the mostly research content of discourse was ascertained.(2) Take woven wire rope as research object, based on tension stringing requirements ofwire rope, functions these should be realized in wire rope cleaning, inspection, maintenancesystem were ascertained, completed whole scheme design of wire rope cleaning, inspection,maintenance system; aiming at the construction characteristics of wire rope, functions ofdehumidification device were ascertained, completed the design of dehumidification device.(3) On the basis of analyzing flow field characteristics of dehumidification air knife, theflow equations of dehumidification air knife flow field were established, selected RNG k turbulence model, calculated N-S equations using finite volume method based on unstructuredgrids and SIMPLE algorithm, providing a theoretical basis for numerical simulation ofdehumidification air knife flow field.(4) Derived purging pressure as an important indicator of measuring dehumidificationeffect, selected four factors greatly affecting dehumidification effect-efflux angle, falloffangle, outlet height, outlet length-width ratio, designed orthogonal experiment, constructeddehumidification air knife flow field geometric models, performed numerical simulations byusing FLUENT software, analyzed simulation results, obtained influence degree of orthogonal factors on dehumidification effect, determined the optimal combination oforthogonal factors; aiming at effects inlet pressure and jet distance on dehumidification effect,the single factor method is used for simulation studies, the influence degree inlet pressure andjet distance on dehumidification effect is determined.(5) Participated and finished manufacturing, assembling, adjusting of dehumidificationdevice, arranged experiments on dehumidification device, determined influence degree inletpressure, jet distance and orthogonal level combinations on wire rope dehumidification effect,experimental results verified the correctness of theoretical analysis.This paper is supported by school-enterprise cooperation project "Development of Greenand Environment-Friendly Traction Rope Cleaning, Inspection and Maintenance IntegrationSystem".
