| We are now in a fast-developing urban construction decade and starting to focus on thelayout of public space. But mostly our decision makers chase for great size, artistic image andsplendid bird’s eye view rather than the satisfaction of the real ps ychological and phys ical ofthe civilians which indeed lead to relatively rough urban public space layout and constructionin most cases.Rest space which offers civilians public space to have rest, entertainment and fun playsan important role in civilians’ routine life. Compared to other activities, Resting is a relativelyquite behavior with more privacy need to space and environment.Based on the clue to human behavior and environment-psychology science, we arediscussing the privacy of the urban public Rest space. The Rest space is made up by physicalelements which should focus on human psychological and physical need with a propercombination way.
