Public space of universitycampus as a core-part of the overall space of the campus and an important carrier of campuslife, has always been presented in campus planning and design focus related to the subjects.Campus public space is for reality of people and people in public space of activities service of;people is the protagonist of campus public space and campus public space is psychologyacting, behavior culture, aspects of space environment, so research of campus public spacecan’t without study on people and only space that full of humanities care, conforms behaviorfeature of people and has environment consciousness will be loved by students and teachers.Through the case of study campus renovation of public facilities at China’s and othercountries‘school environment, based on harmony between people and the environment ofthe public space in campus, investigate the needs of teachers and students of public facilities,through planning, constructing to combine public facilities and the environment organically tocreate age features, geographical features, rich flavor of campus spirit and culture of publicspaces in campus.As a public space in campus, life of students and teacher in campus public spaces isespecially important. First, public space of campus is a stage for university teachers andstudents in public activities. Except for teaching, research and sleep time, other time forstudents are relatively relaxed, such as walking, sports, games, chat, dating, eating,sightseeing and so on, the main carrier of these activities is public space in campus. Publicspace should be versatile and functional and be a place for campus material, energy andinformation exchanging.Starting from human behavior and needs, we set a practical and efficient public spaces ofcampus. A successful design must care about the needs from society, good environment notjust for packing the image or only massaged the surface forms, designers should pay more attention to factors and characteristics of human behavior. As the campus space embodies thespirit of campus, at the same time shoulder the important task of training and developingstudents ’ character, we must refer to "practical" and go beyond just using the function, butextend to the spiritual realm here.This final chapter presents a environmental design of public facilities that takesShenyangAerospace University, school South River as the main objects. |
