With the development of nuclear power digital instrumentation, traditional monitoring methods have failed to adapting high-efficient, high-speed, low-fault requests, using digital I&C to do real-time monitoring of reactor state is a must. During the nuclear power plant operation, sensors’ working environment usually contaminate by noise. In data acquisition, sensors or other structures may occur failure, once the reactor is in accident condition, these problems will be far more obvious, effect the reliability of monitoring and safety control of reactor. Based on this consideration, computer and software methods are used in virtual real-time simulation of important safety parameters monitoring. On the foundation of dada acquisition, combine digital wave filtering technology, optimize the simulation system, build a reliable, real-time, intelligentize reactor safety parameters monitoring system.In this paper, PWR reactor monitoring system is used as archetype, analyze and research thermal parameters, nuclear parameters and vibration displacement parameters which related to reactor safety, refer PWR I&C system’s composition, apply LabVIEW to simulate the monitoring system, and NI-DAQmx simulation tools to simulate real unit operation data, complete digital I&C system’s design. Study on data acquisition, to different signals, find appropriate digital wave filtering methods, in order to reduce random and periodicity noise, improve acquisition precision. Median and wavelet based filtering method has been studied in this paper, apply this method in LabVIEW, and design a data conditioning sub VI. This virtual real-time monitoring system, can monitor the reactor safety parameters real-time, effectively and high-speed, more feasible as well, it could also process and record the data, alert and offer direct and correct parameters to operators.In this paper, the digital I&C system design is discussed, and real examples of digital wave filtering, signal integration using in monitoring system are given to help researchers design better digital I&C system.
