As a series of environmental problems in the current world, such as air pollution, waterpollution, natural disasters and so on, the modular design as to achieve sustainable effectivelymeans has been used in many industrial areas. Public facilities of the university campus are anincreasingly important role in university student life, but the designers of any course to improvetheir sustainability efforts. In this paper, the sustainability of campus public facilities design isimproved by integrating the modularization into itself.First through the literature and field research to study the current situation of publicfacilities in Campus, summed up the public facilities of the college campus; On the basis of thecharacteristics, that the modern university planning the campus according to the functionalpartition, the public facility systems will be that segment. Then these Several common campuspublic facilities were functional analysis according to the basic theory of modular design, andsummarized the module system of Common Campus public facilities; As the research needs,summarize functions and potentially functional requirements of the existing public facilities thatin each functional partition of the college campus, get the overall function of public facilitiescampus system.Finally summed up the campus public facilities design process that based on a modular bythe module system of common campus public facilities and the overall functional system ofcampus public facilities; and put the college campus public facilities design principles andrelevant principles of sustainable design in each stage of the design process, determine the designprinciples of each design phase should be considered.
