Music is the precious common wealth of the mankind. Singing can help people toshow their feelings and express themselves. It is an efficient way to get rest andentertainment. At the present, the offline Karaoke activity is no longer able to cover thegrowing singing demand of people. Online Karaoke applications are becoming more andmore popular because of their operate simply, lower costs and good performance ofspreading and sharing.This thesis redesign a campus Karaoke Platform, the aim is to enhance the usingexperience of the online Karaoke and emphasize the campus social function of theplatform. First, it conducts a requirement analysis to clear about the product positioning.Then it redesigns the platform according to the requirements. The online Karaoke moduleoffers four singing modes for different situation. The social interacting module brings outa new concept called record card to show the records in a pinterest-style layout, it canenhance the interacting of people when they listen to the records. The tribe module usesthe natural aggregate property of people to create a social platform for people who havethe same interests. User growth system is used to motivate users to create more contents.This platform uses the web analysis method to analyze the web traffic, the result is used toevaluate the design effectiveness. And based on the evaluation, the user behavior can beunderstood and be used in product operations and optimization.The platform has already been used to provide online karaoke services to collegestudents. The test data shows that the design in the thesis improves the user experience ofthe platform and enhances the user viscosity and social intensity.
