| At present, a large number of open spandrel masonry arch bridges in domestic areregarded as dangerous bridges after detection. Research on summarizing and optimizingthe reinforcement methods of old dangerous arch bridges has practical significance. Thisthesis has studied the reinforcement methods which are proposed and widely used by ourresearch group. The reinforcement effect has been studied through numerical analysis, andthe optimization analysis of reinforcement size parameters has been represented. This thesis’s main work is as follows:Based on the10open spandrel arch bridges reinforced by our research group inrecent years, this thesis summed up the forms, causes and characteristics of the diseasesof open spandrel masonry arch bridges.Aimed at the reinforcement method proposed and used by our research group, thisthesis has discussed and analyzed its reinforcement mechanism. Then the reinforcementmethods have been applied to engineering examples, and the reinforcement effect hasbeen analysed through finite element software ANSYS.The reinforcement methods have been studied. The new idea that four factors have aninfluence on three indicators in orthogonal test analysis is proposed in this thesis. Theindicator values on different reinforcement size combinations are calculated, and theimpact of various factors on the indicators can be known through analysis of variance. Atlast, the soundest strengthening sizes can be obtained through optimized design, makingthe cost more economical and reasonable. The multivariate linear regression analysis between random variable and independentvariable has been done through MATLAB software, to get the fitted formulas between theprincipal tensile stress at lower edge of vault, the principal compressive stress at loweredge of skewback and the engineering cost. |
