There are a lot of existing spandrel-filled masonry arch bridges in service in the southwest,which plays an important role in the transportation of township roads.However,only the bearing capacity of the arch ring is considered in the checking calculation of the bearing capacity of the spandrel-filled masonry arch bridge in the current specifications,and the improvement of bearing capacity by the combined effect of the arch filler is neglected,which makes the calculation result tend to be conservative.The purpose of this study is to explore the potential law of the combined effect of the arch packing by systematically analyzing the combined effect of the arch packing and the arch ring.At the same time,the diseases and causes of the old spandrel-filled arch bridge are analyzed,on the basis of following the arch bridge appearance evaluation standard and bridge load test standard,it provides a theoretical basis for checking the bearing capacity of the existing spandrel-filled masonry arch bridge structure.In the part of numerical analysis,the finite element software is used for modeling analysis,and the solid model of bare arch and bare arch + filler is established for data comparison.The model of solid arch bridge with different span ratio and packing thickness is established,Select the quarter arch at the top of the arch and the arch foot as the control nods,the stress and displacement data of the control points were extracted and fitted by the empirical formula.Finally,the bridge load test is carried out with the actual project as the object to obtain the measured value of the bearing capacity of the existing spandrel-filled arch bridge.By comparing and analyzing the model data with the actual engineering data,the feasibility of the numerical solution value of the model is demonstrated,and then the relevant conclusions on the bearing capacity improvement and the potential law of the existing solid arch bridge under the combined effect of arch filler are obtained.
