In recent years, with the development of computer technology, many domestic and international incident handling departments have used computer to analyze and process road traffic accidents, and achieved good results. However, due to the vehicle structure and collision process are very complex, the deformation of the body is complex and irregular, and how to input the deformation of vehicle body to computer system accurately and rapidly becomes a serious problem. At present, parameters of common body deformation measuring methods are single, which is unable to meet the computer-based accident analysis and processing system, so the accident vehicle body deformation equivalent treatment is of great significance.Firstly, according to the analysis of3d laser scanning and deformation detection technology, the dissertation established the extraction and equivalent model of accident vehicle body deformation on the basis of VC++and Geomagic. Then, it converted the complex deformation into the cone and ball based on the principle of total deformation, which was convenient to input to computer analysis and processing of road traffic accidents. At last, it demonstrates the practicality of the method by the way of example applications. The main content of the research are:(1) Through studying the Handyscan EXAscan and Geomagic, the dissertation designed accident vehicle body surface survey methods, researched the modeling technology of vehicle deformation region, reverse building technology of the surface before deformation as well as directional deviation deformation analysis technology and achieved the vehicle body deformation in the end. At the same time, it has researched vehicle deformation characteristics and deformation survey’s main points of the head-on collision, rear-end collision, side impact and touching the fixture.(2) In-depth study MTS dynamic electro-hydraulic servo test system, the dissertation has designed and implemented the force-deformation tests of familiar vehicle collision parts, including test methods, procedures and test data acquisition. Through the processing of the test data, qualitative analysis of the force-deformation relationship of vehicle familiar collision parts was performed.(3) The complex accident vehicle body deformation equivalent technology was studyed. Reading and matching the directional deviation analysis data and scan data of deformed rigion based on VC++and OpenGL; According to the physical meaning of directional deviation analysis, the total deformation calculation model of body deformation region based on the finite element method was established; For the collision deformation characteristics of different parts of the vehicle, the dissertation established a cone and ball equivalent plastic deformation model respectively, developed "the extraction and equivalent systems for road traffic accident vehicle body deformation" and realized examples with it.
