With the rapid development of economy, society and science technology, the construction enterprise of our country is also developing rapidly, and the number of high-rise buildings in the city is increasing. At present, the number of ancient buildings is less and less,so in order to preserve the ancient architecture and its cultural characteristics, the ancient Chinese architectural culture can be inherited and continued. Therefore,in order to fully protect the ancient buildings, the corresponding deformation monitoring should be carried out so that the ancient buildings can be mastered in time. The change and structure state, and take pertinent preventive measures to the possible deformation phenomena, avoid accidents and ensure the safety of ancient buildings.Traditional deformation monitoring technology of GPS,total station, level, etc.,each time can only measure a point, deformation analysis with the limitations of "point to surface" and can not fully reflect the deformation state of the building. Therefore, the traditional single point mapping technology has been unable to meet people's demands for efficiency and precision. The emergence of Three-Dimensional Laser Scanning Technology provides a new technical means for people to obtain space information and city construction, and has been widely used in deformation monitoring.Compared with the traditional deformation monitoring technology, the 3D laser scanning technology has the characteristics of high precision and high efficiency. It can not only quickly and comprehensively obtain the 3D point cloud information of the building, but also the 3D point cloud data can fully reflect the surface features of the building, and break through the limitations of the traditional "point to surface".This paper mainly describes the application of three-dimensional laser scanning technology, which is different from the traditional measurement methods, with many new features and functions to the deformation monitoring and analysis of ancient buildings, and expounds its application and principle in this field. It provides a theoretical basis and application method for the application of 3D laser scanning technology in engineering. The main work of this article is as follows:1)Joint measurement based on three-dimensional laser scanning technology:because the three-dimensional laser scanner itself can not be used for deformation monitoring and analysis,it is necessary to integrate the precision measurement of total station, precision leveling, point cloud data processing and other technologyintegration to complete the deformation measurement.(2)the theory and technology of the method of point cloud splicing and geography are elaborated in detail.According to the description of the reasons for the tilt of the point cloud and the derivation of the formula for the influence of the Z coordinate precision,it is deduced that the Z coordinate inclination will affect the settlement analysis of the building, and then the mathematical model of Z coordinate geographies will be established so that the precision of the settlement observation in the deformation monitoring is higher.(3)The existing methods of deformation analysis are summarized.According to the characteristics of monitoring objects in this paper,a method of deformation analysis based on bottom up and layer by layer is put forward. The comparison of deformation analysis and the total deformation of the 3 epoch point cloud data obtained from the monitoring is summarized.
