| As we all know, traffic problems have become one of the hot issues that affect urbandevelopment, and the measures used in urban traffic organization and management varyfrom range to range. In order to alleviate the increasingly severe traffic problem tension, themanagers start looking for a way out to solve traffic problems. One-way traffic increasestraffic manager’s favor in many cities as a low investment,quick effect and easy trafficmanagement measure.Thesis combines research and implementation of one-way traffic at home and abroadtogether with an in-depth analysis focusing on intersections, road and road network. It sumsup the advantages and disadvantages of the one-way traffic in the application in urban roadmanagement. One-way traffic organization planning design are discussed in this article andit puts forward to a specific one-way traffic organization design program and makes adetailed analysis on its adaptive mechanism. Thesis makes a detailed elaboration of theTransCAD software usage in one-way traffic planning in the construction of road networkand geographical information and traffic control environment settings. Morevoer,it showshow to set up a data platform for application of the software and uses the example ofone-way traffic planning for specific interpretation. It brings forward some concreterecommendations and measures for the reduction of line bypass distances and impacts onpublic transport contrary to the inevitable flaws of one-way traffic. Finally, it analysises theone-way traffic programme with the standard output of the TransCAD software forsimulation and compares programme compared to the current situation and scenariosimulation output analysis on traffic flow, service levels, and speed and bypass on thedistance of the tour. |
