The Study On Humane Design In Residential Landscape

Nowadays, the coming of network era makes home office possible. According tothe statistics, half or even two thirds of the city residents spend their time in residentialarea. To every person, residential area is the most important place for living. So thegoodness and badness of the living environmental landscape is essential to people’sphysical and mental health and the formation of good Community atmosphere.However, the fast development of economy has driven the development of thereal estate market, and more practices are done than theory studies. So the design ofresidential landscape in residential area is uneven, which shows the lackness ofhumanistic care, neighborhood communication and Local characteristics.Knowing this situation, this thesis aims at building a natural, comfortable andhumanistic environment for residents. Aiming at the questions existed in Residentialenvironment landscape, this thesis explores the design of Residential environmentlandscape and studies how to build a humanistic residential area by combininglandscape design, ecology and environmental psychology. This thesis begins indefinition and analysis of humanistic environmental landscape, and further analyzesthe relationship between environmental landscape and People’s demand for residentialenvironment landscape and regularity of people’s activity. What is more, beforewriting this thesis, a research has been done by investigating some residential areas inXi’an. Then this thesis analyses these cases and offer some proposals in how to build ahumanistic environmental landscape, including humanized space division andconstruction of place spirit, humanistic design of Landscape elements. Hopefully, this thesis can provide reference value, theoretical basis and practical guiding significanceto environmental landscape design.
