| After the energy crisis happened in the1970s, energy saving and environmentalprotecting reached a consensus development concepts around the world. Buildingenergy efficiency is one of the hot issues of common concerns all around the worldwithin the construction sector. Building energy efficiency includes energy-efficiency innew-designed buildings and energy-efficiency alteration of existing low energy-efficiency buildings. Among all types of buildings, residential buildings take up a largepart with a huge number, and most of these residential buildings built in early days areunder conditions of low energy-efficiency, poor performance of insulation andinefficiency in building envelope part and low-efficiency equipment systems, whichleads a serious and large waste of both heating and cooling in energy consumption.Therefore, energy-efficiency alterations of existing low energy-efficiency buildings arean important part of building energy-efficiency work, which is also a key part ofreaching the energy-saving targets.In the process of urban developments after the rise of high-rise buildings, there arealways many low energy-efficiency high-rise residential buildings existing in largecities, which are under poor thermal performance and indoor comfort, and energy-efficiency alterations in these buildings could improve its comfort level of livingenvironment in short term, also extend the life cycle of these buildings, reduce energyconsumptions, and enable countries to maintain long-term developments with limitedresources, benefits both people and the countries.This paper concludes a research and discussions of building energy-saving worksboth at home and abroad on the basis, and take the existing high-rise residentialbuildings, especially those were built in early days, in Xi’an city as objects of research,analyze the problems and sum up its energy-saving measures through researches, relevant data collections and combined with the characteristics of high-rise residentialbuildings. And last choosing the8#high-rise residential building, located in southcampus of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, as the object of energy-efficiency alteration, analyze the reasons of the main problem that low indoortemperature in heating seasons, according to research to the tenants of this building,make relevant calculations and combined with current building energy-efficiency designstandards, and prove the necessity of energy-efficiency alteration to this building.Considering that propose a full and comprehensive project design of energy-efficiencyalteration without affecting the normal life of the household in the building. Effects areexpected that the indoor comfort level could be improved apparently and achieving thetarget of65%energy-saving alteration. New materials, the suitability of the applicationof new technologies and the popularization are considered in the alteration projectdesigning in building envelope part, meanwhile considering a designing of a set of solarwater heating system for the kitchen and bathroom for each household to support thecontent of the need of hot water in daily lives, which could save part of consumptions ofelectricity power. Finally, make the conclusion that this alteration project design isfeasible through an economic viability of it.In this study we select existing high-rise residential buildings in Xi’an district asthe research objects, but the transformation measures proposed are also taking a fullaccount of its general suitability, and are also apply to buildings alterations in the otherheating zone in our country, but in specific reconstructions, measures should beappropriate used according to the actual situations, and some references and thereference value of the research are thus expected to energy-saving alterations of thesame type buildings in other heating zones. |
