Research On Quanzhou’s Public Leisure Space Optimization Under The Perspective Of Social Justice

With the rapid growth of economy, the income gap among different regions, urbanand rural areas, industries and groups continues to expand; Thus the gap between therich and the poor has been very serious. As a result, the differentiation of the socialgroups and enjoyment of public services is also expanding. So the equal enjoyment ofbasic public services is required. In the time of popularized leisure, leisure has beenan integral part of daily life. But is the layout of public leisure space equal or just?Does everyone enjoy them equally?This article takes Quanzhou as an example, analyzing the public leisure space ofLicheng district and Fengze district from municipal, district and community level.First, the author uses the Arcgis technology to analyze parks’ and leisure squares’service area and population in order to find out the areas and population thar are notserved. Then we can see its layout justice. The author uses accessibility to analyze themunicipal and district-level pulic leisure venues and uses the Krisging method togenerate the house prices diagram. Through the superimposed analysis, we can seethe relationship between the house price and the accessibility of public leisure venuesso as to study the relationship between the accessibility of public leisure venues andeconomic income. Secondly, the author selects four sample communities andsummarizes the leisure venues. Using the questionnaire survey and deep interviewwith the community residents,the author studies the leisure style, leisure venues,leisure barriers, leisure expectation, leisure awareness and satisfaction in order tofind out whether the leisure spaces differ among different communites.The results show that the layout of leisure space is not just and equal. Thepopulation beyond the leisure space service area takes up34.5%and leisure spacediffers among different communities.Finally, the article gives some optimization advices such as developing economy,coordinating leisure space planning and urban development, strengtheninggovernment leading and supervision, encouraging social participation andstrengthening residents’ leisure consciousness.
