Since2009, Co., Ltd. has selected hydraulic forklift gearbox (Figure NO.YDS30.136) as one of its core products to compete in the market. The above-mentionedpart is the key one of the vehicle transmission gearbox of the1-3ton forklift in YQX30series. The automatic adaptive YQX30hydraulic transmission gearbox couldautomatically adjust hydraulic transmission output, and with its stable start-up quality, itis simple to operate, which can reduce the labor intensity of the operator. Therefore, theabove-mentioned product has promising prospects in the market.Hydraulic forklift gearbox plays a very important role in the company’s structuraladjustment and economic development. Batch production of the gearbox is closelyrelated to the overall effectiveness of our company. And process optimization is crucialto batch production as well as streamlined production.The paper describes the CNC process optimization in batch processing the product"hydraulic forklift gearbox (Figure NO.:YDS30.136), The paper describes the actualCNC process procedure, and use the main factors (market, quality, equipments, clamp,tool, cost, efficiency, staffs) which the enterprise invest the input-output itself to designoptimized process. The paper use CNC mainly to machine the product, andsupplemented by normal process. Therefore, the best way to guarantee the processoptimization is using CNC to optimize the process.Among which, with its bottleneck process “CNC horizontal machining centerprocesses" as the focus. Nowadays, the enterprise use CNC automation, the flexibilityof characteristic and the advanced CNC machining technique mastered bytechnician.Analyses are mainly concerning the following aspects: the feed path of theprocess on a horizontal machining center, the clamping position, tool selection strategy,the best balance point regarding the processing time and accuracy of processing, as wellas the preparation of appropriate optimization procedure.With the process optimization of the hydraulic forklift gearbox CNC machining, themonthly production capacity rose from600units to1,500units, without increasing thecrucial machine tool equipment. In this sense, the optimization has not only satisfied the demand of the market, but has also created considerable profits for the company, andthis mode has set an example for similar products in lean manufacturing.
