With the application of hydraulic technology, people request more on the controlingaccuracy of the hydraulic actuating mechanism, especially on the synchronization ofmultiple hydraulic cylinder jacking system. In order to improve the synchronous precisionof multi-cylinder jacking system,the control is realized with the selection of fuzzy PIDcontroller. The major contents of this paper are as fellow:1.Based on large sums of literature, thorough research is done about the existingsynchronization system of multiple hydraulic cylinders, analysis and elaboration is givenon the background and significance of the research as well as the present and future trend ofrelated technology domestic and abroad. There is a introduction of the application anddevelopment of hydraulic synchronous control technology.2.Calculation and selection is executed on the related parameters of hydraulic componentson the condition that the use requirements are satisfied and the cost is under control. Thenthe control of synchronization on the position of multiple hydraulic cylinders is realizedwith the selection of electro-hydraulic proportional technique. At first, the model ofhydraulic components is built on the platform of AMESim according to the technologyparameters of hydraulic components, Then there is a comparison between the model and theactual sample on the performance indexes for higher accuracy of simulation. After that, theAMESim model of the whole hydraulic system is built to testify the feasibility of theapplication of electro-hydraulic proportional technique in this system. At the same time,analysis is made against the reason why it is out of sync in jacking process of multiplehydraulic cylinders.3.Against the characteristics that differences exist among the load of hydraulic cylindersand the load change with time, the fuzzy PID controller is used to get the jacking processcontrolled. In order to reduce the language parameters of each fuzzy controller and to lowerthe complexity of fuzzy rules, a couple of fuzzy controller is used in every PID controller todetermine the parameters, the duty of these two fuzzy controller is to get control of thedynamic feature and the stability feature respectively. Futhermore, Simulink model is builtto control the system with the technique of fuzzy logic toolbox of MATLAB.4.With the interface of AMESim and Simulink, co-simulation of hydraulic system andcontrolling system is realized. The result illustrates that the controlling scheme enhance thesynchronization of the system.
