Study On Strategy Of Commercial And Residential Complex Design In Medium And Small-sized Cities In Guangdong

This paper studies commercial and residential complex design in medium-sizedcities in Guangdong. The first chapter defined and summarized the concepts andfeatures of the commercial and residential complex as well as medium and small-sizedcities. The second chapter analyzed the background and current situation of thecommercial and residential complex, and analyzed the factors leading to thedevelopment of commercial and residential complex changes in medium andsmall-sized cities in Guangdong. The third chapter deeply analyzed current problems ofcommercial and residential complex from three aspects: the overall planning,commercial value and living environment.The fourth chapter, based on the three issues mentioned in the third chapter,summarized the design strategy for commercial and residential complex in medium andsmall-sized cities in Guangdong. Specifically, the strategy includes: the principle ofoverall planning with urban interaction, the principle of commercial value maximizationunder rational planning, and the principle of designing comfortable living environmentgeographically.The fifth chapter examined the design strategy through actual case, and verified thefeasibility of the design strategy.Finally, the sixth chapter raised suggestions on the future design direction ofcommercial and residential complex in medium and small-sized cities in Guangdong,meanwhile predicted its future development.This paper is to help solve current problems of commercial and residential complexin medium and small-sized cities in Guangdong, and to bring some inspirations to thefuture of commercial and residential complex design. Hopefully practitioners can havetheir own set of sophisticated methods when designing for commercial and residentialcomplex in medium and small-sized cities in Guangdong, rather than simply copyingexperience from big cities. Hence, we can design commercial and residential complexdesign which can better meet the needs residents in medium and small-sized.
