Researching For 3D Design Special-purpose Module System Of Gear Class Component Based On SolidWorks

Three-dimensional modeling software SolidWorks2007 is developed taking the Windows XP operating system as a development platform and VisualBasic6.0 as the programming tools.. Dedicated module system on involutes cylindrical gear is completed using parametric design and feature-based modeling technology. The system is composed of two parts of gear design parameters and accurate three-dimensional modeling. Module of parameters designing takes mostly design calculation and strengthen check to the parts of gear. Module of three-dimensional modeling achieved precise three-dimensional modeling for involutes cylindrical gear and rendering of engineering drawings using interpolation points and Macros. Research of the system improves efficiency and accuracy of gear designing and modeling, shortens the time of product designing, and improves the quality of production.
