Study On The Countermeasures Of Guangdong Province’s Professional Driver Safety Regulation

In recent years, the situation of Guangdong province’s transportation safety is severe,each year the total number of accidents and death is more than other provinces, in2011,there were5659accidents and1947people died from transportation accidents. Theprofessional driver safety regulation is transportation accidents’ indirect reason. In order toreduce transportation accidents, it needs to analyze the reason of transportation accident andthe problem of safety regulation, based on this, the paper proposes countermeasure ofprofessional driver safety regulation.First, based on the transportation accident statistical data all of which caused more thanthree persons between2004and2010, the paper thoroughly studies the distributionregularities of transportation accident in Guangdong, including the time and spacedistribution and it also studies the distribution regularities of professional driver’s drivingexperience, age and so on.According to the research of professional driver safety management and information ofenterprise and responsible department of industry, it summarizes professional driver safetyregulation actuality and also points out that the professional driver safety regulation istransportation accidents’ indirect reason. Based on the reason of transportation accidents, itanalyses the relationship between the reason transportation accident and the professionaldriver safety regulation, it also points out the problems existing in the professional driversafety regulation procedure. The results show clearly the direction of professional driversafety regulation.At last, aiming at the problems of professional driver safety regulation, the paper putsforward specific countermeasures combined with the feature of transportation accident,reason of transportation accident and the problems of professional driver safety regulation.The research was sponsored by the technology project of Department ofCommunications of Guangdong Province that is study on the system of professional driversafety regulation.
