As gathering places for human economic and social activities, city commercial space provides the necessary material elements and spaces for human activities, and its development has certain regularities. Self-organized commercial street spaces come out during the long-term free development of the city, and they experienced the self-organization process from disorder to order, and there are objective laws in this process. Self-organized commercial street space is very valuable to be researched because it is an important part of the overall urban space and is often very dynamic and unique. In this paper, we choose Jiuhuashan Road commercial street in Hefei as the main case to study, combined with comparative analysis of other representative self-organized commercial streets, we preliminary explore the evolution process and space form features of commercial Streets which developed by its self-organization..In this paper we summarized the theoretical concepts of the self-organization theory, and then select Jiuhuashan Road commercial street in Hefei as case to study. Based on the combination of literature study,field case survey and other methods, we do a series of studies and analysis of the law of its formation and development, and sum up the value and significance of its existence; Then we do brief analysis about other self-organizing commercial Street cases in China, comparing at the same time, and put forward my own views and opinions; At last we forecast the development trends of self-organizing commercial street, and put forward the improvement measures of the common problems existing in self-organizing commercial Streets at present.
