In modern society, with the incessant upgrading of people’s material and spiritualliving level and the gradual awakening of self consciousness, the design opinionand design method only oriented on satisfying the basic functional requirementshave gradually been unable to adapt to the call for a higher lever of human needs inthe process of product usage.“Experience type” consumption process, which canbring brand new feelings to people, has been more and more widely recognized.In architectural design, pondering over and studying on the experience feeling ofusers are on the one hand, the embodiment of conforming to the trend of thedevelopment of times; on the other hand, the regression on emphasizing thatbuilding should take people-oriented as the ultimate source. It is also the topic thatmust be concerned and paid with attention to when architectural design hasdeveloped to a certain stage. Museum architecture has natural basic function inguiding people to experience the past and perceiving history, thus it more decidesthe significance of mastering and utilizing the experience feelings of visitors in theprocess of its design.Through the study and discussion on experience psychology of people, this papercarried out field investigation on completed museum architectures and theobservation and interview on visitors. This paper understood the psychologicalfeeling and behavioral mode of people in the different space and environment ofmuseum, and screened out the important factors that influence visitors’understanding and apprehending to each space of museum by the collection andanalysis methods including SD method, factor analysis and SPSS. Moreover, itanalyzed on how to consciously strengthen the corresponding positive factorstargeting at different function spaces in the process of architectural design, so as toexert positive guiding role on the visiting activities of people and promote peopleto acquire more resonance and more abundant experience feelings.
