At present, large-scale reconstruction and extension of high-speed railway passengerin China.Due to the neglect of social benefits, travelers factor in the course of the studyof the high-speed railway passenger station location problem in the past has not beenenough stressed, which causes the siting of part of the passenger terminal unsatisfactory,produces more negative effects. Therefore, it is necessary to give special considerationto traveler factors that the minimum cost of passenger travel, studying on the decisiontheory, technical and practical application of high-speed railway passenger stationlocation roblems. The paper proposed high-speed railway passenger station locationmethods based on the smallest passenger travel expenses, in order to meet the greattraveler traffic demand and the real pursuit of the concept of "people-oriented ", fromthe point of view of the passenger travel expenses related to the high-speed railwayStation Location.At first, analyzes the features of high-speed railway and its Passenger Station, thefundamental principles, classification and process of selecting location, and summes upthe general method and its advantages and disadvantages of high-speed station siting.In order to more accurately decisions out of site-selection scheme for thehigh-speed station, in this paper, the principle of traffic zone division, the station layoutpattern and the way to divide of passenger station were studied.Based on the direct costs, time costs and the penalty factor of every transport mode,the passenger travel cost model is established.Then, establishe to0-1integerprogramming location model of passenger travel cost minimum as the goal, combininginteger programming approach. Determine the best location in the system to meet theneeds of high-speed station program.Meanwhile, in determining the model parameters, to establish prediction model oftransport trips based on land character, traffic distribution and mode split, then topropose a method for determining the characteristic factor and0-1integer programmingmodel algorithm.Finally, feasible and practical of the high-speed station location method based onthe minimum passenger travel cost is verified by specific practical cases.
