Research On Space Planning Under The Regional Integration Deve Lopment Mode Of Chengdu Deyang And Mianyang Area

Regional space planning is an important part of regional planning, an indispensable way of space regulation for government, a product of regional development and a key factor to guide regional development. Due to cross-regional issues, it makes planning no longer belonging to the city only, but extended to city to city even as well as region to region. As a result, regional space planning is becoming a subject for more and more planners, government and various circles of society.Locating in the northern part of Chengdu economic zone, Chengdu Deyang and Mianyang area is an important growth pole of western area, which has the most powerful, highest level and largest region gathering industrial strength in Sichuan province even the western area. It also has regional communication advantages laying solid basis for its development, such as great geographical advantages, strong economic foundation, and relatively consummate traffic system. The paper focuses on analyzing spatial planning countermeasures of Chengdu Deyang and Mianyang economic area.The paper does a research on relevant theories and practices abroad and at home about space planning. Through the current comprehensive research, the paper puts forward seven countermeasures in space cooperation, industry division, traffic pattern, resource planning, ecological environment, key area and space regulation on the basis of analysis and research of Chengdu Deyang and Mianyang area space planning layout. It is hoped that the paper can provide valuable references to space planning of this region or similar ones.
