A Landscape Constuction Research Of Waterfront Space Of Deyang City

Waterfront space landscapes along banks of Mianyuanhe River, which serve as recreational places for residents in Deyang city and major landmarks of public space of this city, is supposed to bear the steadiness of this city's history and culture and the massiveness of spacial responsibility. A general survey over the construction of waterfront space landscape in Deyang city shows that great progress has been achieved in this respect and there is a gradual trend towards localization and culturalization. However, many inadequacies also expose themselves along with the quick development of social economy and rapid expansion of the city.Taking the waterfront space landscape construction of Deyang city as the object of study and beginning with the analysis of the waterfront space landscape belts already built, field studies and questionnaire surveys were conducted to investigate the current utilization condition of some symbolic waterfront space landscapes and the satisfaction degree and demands of Deyang residents towards them, by which the study aimed to find out the problems existing in the construction of waterfront space landscape in Deyang city, analyze the causes of them, explore solutions to them and summarize related experience and lessons in hope of providing new reference for the construction of waterfront space landscape in Deyang city and other cities with similar geographical condition.This paper explores new thoughts and approaches in the construction of waterfront space landscape in a city by analyzing the development trend of Deyang city and the new lifestyle of its residents and presents such five angles as versatility of the function of waterfront space landscape, accessibility of water, safety of landscapes, ecology of environment and symbolism of buildings, which can make the waterfront space landscape play a more active role in the modern city life, help form a waterfront space landscape unique to Deyang and let all the residents of this city share the pleasure provided by waterfront space.In the last part of this thesis, it is proved by analyzing the project of culture and art corridor of three kingdoms in the city of Deyang that conducting the construction of waterfront space landscape from the above-mentioned five angles is beneficial as it enriches the design techniques for the waterfront space landscape. Finally, the prospect of the construction of waterfront space landscape in the city of Deyang is analyzed from such three aspects as promoting the city's overall image, bolstering the appreciation of its land and advancing the development of its tourism, which again proves that five-angle approach can provide new strategy for the construction of waterfront space landscape in the city of Deyang.
