The railway station signal equipment is the main equipment that to insure the safety ofthe train operation in station, improve the efficiency of railway transport and the staff workingconditions, and the station interlocking system is the core equipment of the station signaldevice. Currently, the functions of man-machine interview and interlocking logic operationlayers for computer interlocking system are realized by computer, while a large number ofrelay circuits are still used in the execution and indication layer to control the outdoor signalequipments. This system has many problems such as heavy workload in maintenance, largeoccupied space, high cost and having no functions of protecting the outside short circuits, andit affects and restricts the direction to information, network and intelligent of the railwaysignal control system. Based on the problems faced in fields, developing the all electroniccomputer interlocking system has the practical significance and urgent need.The dissertation mainly aims at the four-wire switch control circuit as the research object,on the basis of the current situation of development for the interlocking technologydevelopment in domestic and international and analyzing and studying of design ideas andmethods about the interlocking equipments, the four-wire switch control module is designedand developed, which realized all the functions of switch control circuit. The following worksare completed as below:Firstly, the composition, synchronization mechanism and failure-safety measures of theall electronic computer interlocking system is studied, in addition, the operating demands,technical requirements and related technical specifications of switch module for railwaysignal control system are introduced.Secondly, on the basis of analyzing the function demands of the switch module andadopting direct four-wire switch as the controlled object, the hardware composition offour-wire switch module, principles and key skills of each function circuit are concretelyanalyzed, and the flow charts of control and communication software for switch module aredesigned, besides, the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) diagram and hardware debugging arecompleted. The debugging results show that the module can finish the functions of controllingand indication, and satisfy the operational and technical requirements of interlocking system.Finally, the theories of reliability and safety are used to analyze and calculate itsreliability and safety, which had been simulated by Matlab. The simulation results show thatthe reliability and safety indicators of the module can meet the specific requirements in therailway standard TB/T1477-2005. Through replacing the relay control circuits of executionand indication layer in the existing computer interlocking system by the intelligent allelectronic control module, the functions of control, supervision and testing integration of the signal field equipments are realized.
