With the development of the urbanization, the space of city and population are increasing quickly, which make the contradictory between the supply and demand of the transportation outstand and the phenomenon of the congestion gets worse and worse. Urban rail transit has been a major method to solve the congestion with it’s advantage of fast speed low cost and less influence to the environment etc. In the process of designing and operating the metro station. The capability of the facility inside the station should fulfill passengers request in order to avoid congestion and improve comfort level and safety as much as possible. The passengers perception to the level of service of equipment and facilities and overall of the station determined the quality of the service, the standard of dividing the level of service is not only the premise of the design of the metro station in future, but also the basis of operating and organizing the exiting station.The paper firstly analyzes the macroscopic properties of passengers in the station facilities, and building the speed-density relationship model, to provide the data support for the research on the level of service of equipment and facilities of urban rail transit station.The station’s level of service need to consider both passengers’feelings of individual equipment and facilities as well as the integrity of the station. Then determine the classifing methods for the research on the level of service of equipment and facilities, take the corridor and stair which have passenger flow for example, firstly determine the impact factors of the two types of facilities, design the passenger perception questionnaire through collecting the real photos, surveying the passengers’ perception, and obtain the classifing standards for level of service of equipment and facilities.Then considers the factors which can react station’s holistic and propose a classification method based on the psychometric scaling technique theory. Through the investigation determining the the station classification indicator of the overall level of service, take Fuxingmen metro station for example, make data surveys and survey the passengers’perception questionnaires, then obtain the overall level of service classifing standards by using the psychometric scaling technique theory. Ultimately forming the level of service classifing system of urban rail transit station, to provid the theory and data support for the design optimization and management for urban rail transit station.
