Spectrum analyzer is a comprehensive instrument. It is an important weapon forthe scientists and engineers to explore science and technology, and solve engineeringproblems. It is the study of the electrical signal spectrum structure. Spectrum analyzerused for measuring signal parameters,such as signal distortion, modulation, frequencystability, spectral purity, etc. Spectrum analyzer is a kind of multi-purpose electronicmeasuring instrument. Digital spectrometer can be used to test intermediate frequencyand low frequency signal processing. The design of monitoring software of the digitalspectrometer for measuring result is particularly important.Object-oriented method is gradually replace the traditional method.Object-oriented approach is increasingly become the mainstream approach in the fieldof software engineering. The biggest advantages of object-oriented method can beachieved software reuse successfully. Unified modeling language (UML) used forsoftware analysis and design. UML is recognized as the best standard modelinglanguage for object-oriented software analysis and design.This paper mainly discusses the design and implementation method of the digitalspectrum analyzer monitoring software which based on embedded real-time operatingsystem.Firstly,the functional requirements of spectrum analyzer is given byspectrometer software requirements analysis; secondly, the method of object-orientedis used in the design of monitoring software of the spectrometer; finally, spectrometersoftware is implemented by writing the code and software testing and softwarevalidation. The most important part of spectrum analyzer monitoring software is therealization of man-machine interface and mainly spectrometer the realization ofhuman-computer interface, spectrometer time-frequency transforms, pectrometertime-frequency transform and the control and analysis of spectrum distribution.In the end, the realization of man-machine interface, spectrometer time-frequencytransforms and the control and analysis of spectrum distribution is confirmed by the method of black box testing and white box testing. At the same time, the extensioninterface of t spectrum analyzer monitoring software is tested and verified.
